Howard's Wrecker Service, founded in 1971 by Billy Howard in Smyrna, Georgia, began as a full-service gas station and soon expanded into towing with the purchase of its first truck that same year. Over time, the business grew steadily, adding more trucks and broadening its service area.

Today, Howard's Wrecker operates a fleet of 30 vehicles, including flatbeds, heavy-duty wreckers, landolls, and lowboys, equipped to handle a wide range of towing and hauling needs. We are fully licensed and insured to provide both local and long-distance towing at competitive rates.

Howard’s Wrecker Service is located at 2465 Ventura Place in Smyrna, and serves all of Central Georgia, offering 24-hour dispatch, 7 days a week.

      If your vehicle has been impounded by Howard's, please bring the following items for a smooth retrieval process:

      • Proof of Ownership: Bring either the vehicle title or current registration.
      • Valid Identification: A government-issued ID is required, such as a driver’s license, state ID, passport, concealed weapons permit, or military ID.
      • Appropriate Footwear: For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
